Reiki for Animals

If you haven't watched it already, please watch our video "Reiki Ambassador1" . It is about our two cats (now both in 'kitty heaven') showing benefits of receiving Reiki treatments. The video was published while our webpage "Reiki Spark" was active.

Animals, like people and plants, can benefit from Reiki.  You can use Reiki to help your pets and other animals.

Reiki animal healing does not involve the administration of any drug, just a gentle physical contact with the animal, even that is not necessary, so it is totally harmless.

Reiki for animals can be a wonderful complementary treatment to traditional care, whether your pet has emotional or behavioral problems, is sick, injured, or even dying.

Reiki can speed the healing process of animals, ease pain, and improve or help to continue their quality of life. Reiki can delay the onset and progression of certain diseases in animals, and can energise and revitalise older animals. For dying animals, Reiki is a powerful yet gentle way to provide comfort, relief from pain, fear, and anxiety, and to ease the transition to death.

Reiki will also help accelerate the healing process for animals who have undergone surgery.

Animals absolutely love to be treated and comforted with Reiki energy. We can hardly know what an animal experiences during a Reiki session, but their body intelligence obviously can recognise what is beneficial for them. They normally will become very still and seem to sense that something very special is taking place, and gratefully accept the energy.

The healing principles of Reiki are the same whether you are treating a person, or an animal. The Reiki energy flows just the same in all cases. From our experience the energy flow is even smoother with animals because they do not have any mental blocks, beliefs or prejudice about this type of healing.

Abused pets won't usually allow you to touch them at first. Try talking to them in a soothing voice. Use slow movements, and try beaming Reiki to the animal or perform Distant Healing so you won’t have to touch the animal at all.

If you have a pet, you can experiment with giving them Reiki. You will find that they will enjoy the loving energy of Reiki. It's also a good way to maintain your pet's health.

Reiki animal healing is now being applied to animals for disease treatment and general wellness. Reiki animal practitioners can be found in many countries now. Many veterinarians and veterinary nurses use Reiki in addition to conventional veterinary medicine.

Reiki treatment can be calming and may help an agitated animal become a more loving and trusting pet.

Please, be aware that no other practitioner or vet can replace your loving touch in your pet's life.

Spend some time to contemplate whether you are prepared to make that small investment into a Reiki Course, if for no other reason, as an investment into your pet's health and happiness.

Hi Bo, I need to explain why i asked for photos of Sam. Amongst many things I also practise reiki and with reiki you can send energy on distance. I was doing this for years for my parents. Reiki is very gentle energy and if could not help, it could not harm either. If it is Sam's destiny to go, reiki could not stop it but it might ease Sam's suffering. I am still doing it and also one of my friends who just learned this technique. So she is getting double dose of reiki full time.
